This week, I actually forgot to create a diary entry. I do not know if that is because life as it, is now fully normal, or perhaps I just felt subconsciously I did not have anything interesting to say? Either way, better late than never!
Today, we were meant to be going on holidays. When we booked it in January, we did not think we could not be able to go. It is incredible how quickly things can change; how unplanned and unforeseen events can get in the way of things that seemed so certain. We were going away primarily to get some heat and sun. As things stand, it is currently very sunny outside, and temperatures are to reach 19 degrees this afternoon… A silver lining in a sky that has no clouds! On top of that, we got our money back for the flights. Albeit, in the form of a voucher but that will be spent as soon as it is safe. I mean come on; it won’t be 19 degrees in Ireland in October.
